MINIMIZE CLEANING COSTS AND CONTAMINATION RISK IN IBCS

The use of the patented LD-PE inliner (Snappliner©) for plastic and stainless steel IBCs saves costs during transport, storage and removal of liquid media in the IBC. contamination-free handling makes sorting during the production process unnecessary and reduced so the IBC fleet size. Costs for operational cleaning logistics are eliminated. The additional containment permanently eliminates contamination risks throughout the entire supply chain and avoids additional costs due to insufficient residual emptying. At the same time, the additional containment extends the shelf life of the filling products.

For
highest safety, cleanliness and maximum user comfort The IBC can also be delivered to the customer "ready to fill." This saves time and money. The "Snappliner©" fits all common IBC types and does not require any modification of existing filling or emptying systems.

FEATURES

Easy handling

Thanks to a special outer packaging, the base of the liner automatically unfolds into the tank corners after being inserted through the tank opening, like an umbrella. This ensures that the film maintains contact with the tank wall along its entire circumference and prevents excessive tensile stress from trapped air. Installation and removal of the Snappliner© takes well under a minute.

The IBC is filled and emptied either via a suction/pressure lance included in the delivery program or, alternatively, with a discharge hose via the IBC's standard discharge fitting. Also included is a special filling nozzle that secures the filler nozzle of the liner and ensures the venting of the inner container via air slots.

Properties and application:

Packaging in an IBC is not only more cost-effective and safer, but also meets increased hygiene requirements in the food industry and opens up more applications in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. The "Snappliner" is FDA and UL-approved. EU 1935/2004 Industry standard certified. The liner is made of high-quality LDPE film. Upon request, an additional EVOH permeation barrier against oxygen is available.

As a special and optional measure for germ reduction, the liner can be irradiated with an average area dose of at least 15 kGray using the E-beam method, thus making the Snappliner aseptic.

For liquids with a watery consistency, this achieves almost complete drainage. The remaining liquid collects in a vortex when pulled out, which can be completely emptied via the clamped outlet hose.

Summary Features +
Advantages:

  • Easy handling: Installation/removal of the inliner takes well under 1 minute
  • Suitable for all common plastic IBC types such as Schütz, Mauser etc.
  • Tearing of the film due to tensile stress when the medium sloshes during transport is reliably prevented by consistently avoiding the formation of pockets and wrinkles during installation:
  • Safe, force-fitting and complete installation of the inliner at the tank bottom of the bladder
  • Use of the reusable filling tube nozzle forces a complete venting of the bladder
  • Reduction of fleet inventory: no more separation of types within the IBC fleet necessary: cross-contamination due to impurities is excluded
  • optimal residual emptying >99%
  • better protection of the medium from the ambient atmosphere (reduced risk of mold formation)
  • Cost savings: no cleaning effort, procurement/disposal costs of the inliners are significantly lower
  • Aseptic applications with optional irradiation: germ-free Snappliner with double packaging (clean room production?)
